The Edmonton Oilers host the Montreal Canadiens this evening. Montreal is the second worst team in the league. Although they are currently playing well lately. In their last 10 games, they have gone 6-4.
Edmonton Oilers are due to show up tonight
It’s a game the Oilers need to come forward and play a solid game tonight. In the last game against the Blackhawks, the Edmonton Oilers played a bad game. They were lucky to come out of that game with one point.
Mike Smith will start tonight. Smith played well against the Carolina Hurricanes, if he plays like that again tonight the Oilers should get the win. As the Oilers should have no problem scoring goals tonight.
The Montreal Canadiens have conceded the most goals in the NHL so far this season. It’s good for the Oilers as they are missing 2 of their top six forwards in Nugent-Hopkins and Puljujarvi as well as their power-play quarterback Tyson Barrie.
I would expect the lines to be the same as the last game. The only changes will be Mike Smith in goal and Philip Broberg for the injured Tyson Barrie.
Hopefully the Oilers show up and play a solid game and this team can get back in the column
