This water park near Montreal has an immersive tunnel to float through
The Super Aqua Club has just received a new trippy attraction. When the water park near Montreal opens for the season on June 17, visitors will find the first of its kind “Zephyr River,” an immersive jungle-themed tunnel that Narcity Quebec says uses LED lights, laser 3D projections and animations to captivate passing tube-riders.
The park told sister outlet MTL Blog that going through the tunnel would only take about 30 seconds. But since the light show inside lasts about five minutes, floaters could pass repeatedly without seeing the same images.
La Rivière Zéphyr is the world’s first deployment of the “Dream Tunnel” concept developed by Montreal-based company Vortex International, which develops water park attractions.
The photos shared with Narcity give an idea of the experience.

“Starting this summer, our visitors of all ages will have the unique opportunity to live a wild, immersive and multisensory adventure under the theme of the jungle,” said Super Aqua Club President Nadine St-Amant in a statement sent to Narcity and shared with MTL Blog.
