The very first Wraparound Cineplex cinema screen in Quebec opens its doors outside Montreal
The experiences in the cinema keep getting more and more high-tech, which makes each trip to the cinema even cooler than the last. And it looks like Cineplex isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Starting December 17, there will be a whole new way to watch a movie at Cineplex Odeon Brossard and VIP theaters. The cinema is equipped with the very first ScreenX immersive panoramic auditorium in Quebec.
Using multi-projection cinema technology, ScreenX allows viewers to experience movies through a 270-degree panoramic view. Cineplex explains the wrap-around cinema screen as “a virtual reality-like frame with cinema-quality resolution”, which creates “a truly immersive experience for moviegoers.”
