Contest rules and regulations

1. Eligibility

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

This contest is open to legal residents of Canada, including residents of Quebec. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Employees of Tribute Publishing, Inc. (“Tribute”), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and immediate family members and those with whom they are domiciled are not eligible.

2. How to participate

Access to the “SMILE ADANCE SCREENINGS & PASS” contest is obtained by visiting the Tribute.ca website(s) and clicking on the contest banner.

You will be asked to provide your: first and last name, street address, city, province, postal code, postal code, telephone number, email address, age and gender. Note that although not all fields are required to enter (required fields are marked with an asterisk), we will need your full mailing address for the prize if your name is selected as a winner. Complete the registration form, correctly answer the skill-testing question and press “submit”. By entering the contest, the participant consents to the disclosure of his name. The participant declares to have complied with the rules of the competition. In addition, the winner must comply with all instructions given by the Contest/Event organizers or his/her participation in the Contest/Event will be refused.

In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an online entry, entries will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) who is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

All entries become the property of Tribute and the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned to entrants. If the potential winning entry is an entry on the Internet or on another computer, the potential winner may be asked to provide Tribute with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. . Incomplete or illegible entries are void.

Entrants can enter the contest an unlimited number of times.

At the end of the contest, the person participating in the contest (“Authorized Account Holder”) (as described above) agrees to receive an email from the contest provider (Tribute.ca) informing the user that the contest has ended and with information about the movie.

3. Contest Period

The contest period begins on September 22, 2022 and ends on September 26, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time). All entries must be received no later than September 26, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) to be included in the draw. Tribute and the Contest Sponsor are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected or incomplete entries. All entries must be for this draw and will not be retained for future draws.

4. Price

One (1) of ten (10) double passes to see a pre-screening of SMILE 26.94

(Some restrictions are imposed by the theater exhibitor. Please note them when receiving these passes)

The prize is neither refundable nor transferable and cannot be extended. Documents once issued in the winner’s name are not transferable or refundable. Note that all applicable taxes and issuance fees are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Prize must be accepted as awarded and no cash equivalent is available. NO PRIZE SUBSTITUTION IS PERMITTED EXCEPT BY CONTEST SPONSOR IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION. CONTEST SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE ANY PRIZE WITH ANOTHER PRIZE OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE. PRIZES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND ARE NOT EXCHANGEABLE FOR CASH OR CREDIT, IN WHOLE OR IN PART SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF ALCOOLS, RACING AND GAMES.

5. Selection and qualification of winners

On September 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) in Toronto, Ontario, a random drawing will be conducted by Tribute for the prizes from among all eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date. Odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received by the applicable contest closing date. A selected entrant who does not successfully complete all required fields will be deemed to have forfeited the prizes and Tribute will have the right to select a new name from among qualified entrants. Failure to respond or claim prize within 14 days of notification or returning email notification as undeliverable after 3 attempts will result in forfeiture of prize and Contest Sponsor will reject the selected entry and have the right to randomly select another winner. The prize will be mailed to the winners at the address indicated by the winner when entering the contest. If the mailed prize is returned as undeliverable, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize. Prize winners will be contacted by phone or email and may be required to complete and return a release form to claim their prize. By entering this contest, entrants automatically agree to accept and abide by these contest rules and regulations.

6. General conditions

Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of the judging organization, which are final in all matters relating to the Contest. This contest is governed by the laws of Canada. All federal and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. By entering, entrants release and hold harmless Contest Sponsor, Tribute and their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, performers and agents (collectively, the “Contest Entities”) from any and all liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with the contest, or the use or acceptance of any prize won.

BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES. Official Rules will be posted on the Contest Site throughout the Contest. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects.

Tribute reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify anyone found to have tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or the Contest Site; act in violation of the Official Rules; or act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, USERS MAY ENTER AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF MANUAL ENTRIES. ABUSE OF THE ENTRY POLICY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED OR RESTRICTED AT THE CONTEST SPONSOR’S DISCRETION. THE USER MUST ENTER BY MANUALLY CLICKING THE “SUBMIT” BUTTON. USE OF SCRIPTS AND/OR PROGRAMS (EG ROBOTS OR SPIDERS) TO AUTOMATE ENTRIES IS ABUSE. THE CONTEST SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO JUDGE ALL CONTEST ENTRIES ACCORDING TO ITS INTERPRETATION OF THE RULES.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTEST OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE A WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND IF SUCH ATTEMPT IS MADE, HOMAGE AND THE CONTEST SPONSOR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES. OF SUCH COMPETITOR TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Contest Entities are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by users of the Website or by any of the equipment or programs associated with or used in the Contest, or by any technical or human error that may arise in the processing of submissions in the Contest. Contest Entities assume no responsibility for any errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access or alteration of entries. The Contest Entities are not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or line, computer online system, server or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of email or drives due to technical problems or congestion. traffic on the Internet or on any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to entrants or anyone else’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading material in this competition.

ANY DISPUTE RELATING TO THE AWARDING OF A PRIZE MAY ONLY BE SUBMITTED TO THE RÉGIE FOR THE PURPOSES OF HELPING THE PARTIES REACH A SETTLEMENT.
